Like the perfect cigar, the smoker’s lifestyle is one focused on enjoyment and relaxation. At Puff Lifestyle, we discuss all avenues of lifestyle - great hotels that are cigar friendly, fantastic wines, cigar friendly dining, cool gadgets, lighters that actually work, hand carved cedar humidors...you get the idea. But we also cover the down to earth lifestyle interests as well: the most enjoyable reasonably priced cigars, best vacations on a budget, and the best way to stretch a buck...which has never been more important. Nothing is off topic!

I actually registered on Cigar-Mafia to comment on an idiotic chat they were having about CRA. Well, now I’m “banned” from their chat rooms! I feel as good about that as I did when I got a Merit Badge from the Boy Scouts! For you edification, here’s what I posted...

To me, cigars are almost as important as food, beer, and sex. I’m not even sure myself what order I’d put that list in, but smoking cigars is definitely high on my list of life’s most essential things. Did I forget family? My bad.

I live in Florida but I grew up and attended high school in New Jersey. And in Jersey, the word “barbecue” was a verb. Dad would barbecue burgers, chicken, or steak for dinner. But tell that to someone in the Midwest or southwest and they’ll rip you a new one. To them, barbecue is a noun. Barbecue is a type of food like ribs, pulled pork, mesquite chicken, etc. In Jersey, they push the button on the Weber and dinner is served. But in Texas and neighboring states, it’s called grilling, and anything barbecued is slow cooked.

Have you pissed off your local smoke Nazi today?
You know, I never liked Nazi’s much. They conjure up images of things that are unpleasant and most distasteful. And what were Nazi’s but arrogant, bullying, angry people with the belief that they were superior and knew what was best for everyone else.

George Bernard Shaw said, that “Playing golf is a good way to ruin a nice walk.” Well, that may be so, but lazy bastards like me ride in a cart so I’ve got that all covered. Plus, since I live in the Sunshine State, walking isn’t always an option if you want to actually be alive after a four and a half hour round in 95-degree heat.
