Plastic Boxes
If you thought that plastic bags were a little down-market for your taste in cigar storage devices then I guess the humble plastic box isn't going to improve your outlook ... but it could score you some points with your wife or partner ... especially if she's into Tupperware.

Imagine how good you would look in her eyes if you suggested she head out to the next Tupperware party she gets an invite to and she actually buys something. Of course you know that what she's going to be buying is something for your cigars but she doesn't need to know that ...just yet.

Now I hope you noticed that I suggested that you were going to need a new plastic box for your cigars because that's important ... and not just from the point of view of trying to impress your wife or partner. While you might be tempted to re-purpose an old plastic box that would be a mistake because ... no matter how well you may have washed it in the past ... there is always the chance that there's something remaining in there just waiting to spring to life if the conditions are right.

While the box might be clean enough to store food in the cold environment of the fridge it's not going to be clean enough to store cigars in the humid environment you will have to generate inside the box to keep your cigars fresh. Try it and you too can be developing new and interesting life forms ... that certainly don't add to your smoking experience.
