While there are plenty of cigar smokers who know that anytime you can stop what you’re doing and enjoy a good cigar is a special occasion that’s not what I want to talk about here. Instead I want to look at the growing trend within the cigar industry to provide cigars for those special moments in life that we all want to remember and personally I can think of no better way to mark some of those moments than by having a special cigar to help that moment live even longer in your memory.

A Special Band

The way you can use cigars to mark those special occasions is really only limited by your imagination and perhaps by the importance of the occasion. For example, you might mark a minor milestone in the life of your family or your business by bringing together a group of friends and family members and offering them a cigar complete with your own custom band. You may even find that among the group of people who come together for that special occasion there are some cigar band collectors who will be very keen to get their hands on something quite unique.

Then all you have to do is place an order for cigars and your custom band will be added to it all for just a couple of extra dollars.

A Special Cigar

Another option for that special occasion is a special cigar, something that you and your friends don’t always smoke or maybe a cigar that’s definitely a level above what you might normally smoke. These days you can buy cigars with a variety of flavors so perhaps think of a cigar with a cognac or wine flavor for that special occasion, or perhaps a cigar that is blended from several different tobaccos.

If a flavored cigar doesn’t appeal to your taste then perhaps something really exotic that uses some rare tobacco that your guests may not have smoked before or even cigars made from some well-matured tobacco – more matured than you normally have in your cigars - for the wrapper and filler might be what you’re looking for. Of course these are going to be more expensive but then special occasions do call for a very special cigar and there’s nothing finer than something unique to celebrate the birth of a baby or the marriage of one of your children.

 Now here is an option that might be available to you that will really make your celebration memorable. Instead of just bringing along a box or two of fine cigars complete with custom wrappers why not bring along a highly skilled roller to prepare the cigars right there in front of your guests?
