Besides celebrating the Cuban tradition of pre-embargo cigar making, these
unique cigars are individually wrapped in paper reproductions of the New York
Daily Mirror's headline page of February 4, 1962, proclaiming JFK's enactment of
the Cuban Trade Embargo. According to Michael Argenti, President of Cuban
Imports, Ltd., “I believe the style, character and caliber of this cigar has
been in exile for nearly a half century, and we’re delighted to resurrect and
re-introduce it to the American market. For the experienced cigar connoisseur,
it is an absolute treasure.” The cigars are made in Nicaragua, and are available
with Ecuadorian Sumatra Rosado or Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers.
