Are kids the only ones that get to have fun on Halloween with their treats?  Of course not.  Cigar smokers can get their fix too, and here are some examples of present and past cigar releases made specifically with Halloween in mind.

Viaje Skull & Bones

The Skull & Bones is a 2013 release that comes to us from this popular boutique brand.  It’s not necessarily brand new to the scene, however, as the Skull & Bones has been released in the past with no relation to the October 31st holiday.  As for the shape of the Skull & Bones for Halloween 2013, brand owner Andre Farkas called it a “M?stery.”  The composition is highlighted by a Maduro wrapper, and only 200 boxes of 25 have been produced.  A cool side note that definitely gives the Skull & Bones a Halloween feel is the fact that its decorative bands glow in the dark.

Viaje Full Moon

The Skull & Bones isn’t the only Halloween 2013 release from Viaje, as the brand’s Full Moon is also making an appearance.  This marks the first time that the Full Moon has ever been made available, and the cigar comes in an attractive circular box of 24 that features a scary-looking jack-o-lantern on the cover.  If you’re big on collecting cigar boxes, the Full Moon’s will definitely be a keeper.

Each Full Moon measures in at 5 x 58 and carries a price tag of $11.40.  The cigar, which took about two years to blend, features Nicaraguan tobaccos and a Corojo wrapper.  According to Farkas, only 400 Full Moon boxes have been made.  He even calls the packaging the most elaborate in his brand’s history.
