Make water your beverage of choice
When you are at your local supermarket, it can be very tempting to stock up on juices, soda, or other flavored drinks. The problem is, these choices add high amounts of sugar and calories to your diet. If you eat properly but drink poorly, you will negate the positive aspects you have implemented into your diet. When it comes to beverages, you want water to dominate your daily regimen of liquids.

Water is a powerful tool that gets rid of the toxins and waste products in the body that can cause feelings of sluggishness. One source of water, other than the drink itself, is the previously mentioned group of fruits and vegetables, as both offer plenty of water themselves.
