workout1 Just as with a proper diet, exercise is another thing that many people seem to neglect in their lives. That neglect may not necessarily be intentional, but for one reason or another, it occurs. One huge reason that many cite as to why exercise is not a part of their daily regimen is their busy schedule. Coming up are some ways to combat the excuse of not exercising due to a busy schedule.

If you are a regular member at a gym and are observant, you can tell that exercise is a dreadful task for many. Many people simply do it because they feel obligated to do so, and do not enjoy it. This can lead to a rather quick burnout, and exercise will once again be dropped from their daily routines. If you want an example of this, just look at how busy gyms are after the holiday season. Many new members join gyms in January as a way to appease their New Years' resolutions. Either that, or they are trying to shed the unwanted pounds gained during the plentiful holiday meals. Regardless, as the new year moves on, you will see gyms become less crowded, as many of the new members drop out due to a lack of interest or a lack of time.

Including exercise in your life does not mean that you have to go to a gym. It does not mean that you have to set aside an hour or two per day to sweat off pounds and build muscle. In fact, exercise can be added in very simple ways by changing your lifestyle one step at a time. By opting for less “lazy” routes during the daily grind, exercise can easily be incorporated into your busy schedule. Just a few minutes of exercise per day is a vast improvement over none at all, and it can increase your well-being not only physically, but also mentally. Here are some ways to do this, as well as some basic exercises you can do to help improve your fitness level.
