Getting Yours Hands on the Terminus
The super-modern e-bikes can now be pre-ordered directly from M55, and each bike comes with a gold plate engraved with the details of the owner. This year, five limited edition series of the Terminus are set to be released with 55 models in each batch. The first batch will be fitted out with the White Brothers double crown fork, and the second will feature a custom-designed single-arm suspension design called ‘Biceps’. The third series is set to be a tailor-made edition featuring exclusively produced, one-of-a-kind e-bikes made only on request. And M55 have kept the details of the final two Terminus collections a mystery, so you’ll have to wait to find out what electronic treats are in store later in the year. The company are also making special edition e-bikes for every 55th model created, each with a one-off, custom paint-job - so if you’re putting in an order, cross your fingers for that magic number!

An Environmental Bonus
M55 have been using green energy to make the bikes in their futuristic, eco-friendly facility near Budapest. But the company are taking being green even further. For every M55 bike that is sold, 555 Euros are donated to the Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation. The foundation has dedicated its work to protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development across the globe. It supports research, studies and technological innovation, and has approved the eco-friendly processes being used by M55.

M55: Past, Present and Future
M55 worked through six stages of development to reach a point where they were ready to let the Terminus loose upon the world. After a rehearsal and public presentation in Friedrichshafen at the 2010 Euro Bike, the company felt confident enough to start producing and distributing The M55 Terminus. Unveiled to the world last month, technology fans around the world have embraced the bike with open arms. But this is by no means the end of the road for the super-slick e-bikes. M55 plan to continue developing their hybrid drive concept and evolving their daring designs over the next few years - so we’ll just have to wait and see what form the Terminus will take on next!
