68

68

The 68 is a small cigar that packs plenty of punch. It measures just 4 x 44 and is nicknamed the Bombone. This cigar is the smallest in the series because it represents the year in which Giolito was born: 1968. Giolito also describes the 68 as a tribute to fellow cigar maker and inspiration Paul Garmirian.

42g

The 42g is one of the larger cigars in the Illusione Series. It's a Double Corona that measures 7 ½ x 49. Besides being larger, it's also considered stronger, falling strictly into the full-bodied category of strength. As for the 42g name, the number 4 represents 2004, the year in which Giolito opened his own store. 2g refers to two gears, meaning Giolito wanted to cigar to have different gears that of strength when smoked, with the first gear being milder and the second gear kicking things up a notch. Despite the fact that the 42g is a Double Corona, Giolito branded its box with Church on the side as a reminder for him to actually go to church on a more frequent basis.

88

The 88, or Robust, is a medium to full-bodied cigar that has notes of spice, earth, and leather. It measures 5 x 52, and its Robust title has more to do with its strength rather than the Robusto size. The 88 stands for 1988, the year in which Giolito decided to leave Oklahoma to go to college in Reno, Nevada.

888

888

The 888 is a medium to full-bodied cigar that measures 6 ¾ x 48. It has a long finish and has notes of earth and spice within its flavor profile. The 888 name, like others within the Illusione Series, was derived from Giolito's faith. Giolito used Gematria, a Hebrew numerology, to come up with the number 888, which is the figure that is given when each of the letters in Jesus' name are assigned a number and then added up.

cg4

The White Horse, or cg4, measures 5 5/8 x 48. The cigar is a Corona Gorda, from which it gets the cg part of its name. The number 4, meanwhile, has to do with the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Giolito got the White Horse nickname as a suggestion from a friend when he called to ask about any name ideas for the cigar.
