Zino Platinum Cigars. If you haven't heard of them before, now's the perfect time to familiarize yourself with these trendy stogies for the modern smoker in this latest Puff Profile.
If awards were given out to cigar brands solely on style, Zino Platinum would definitely be at the front of the class. The brand is the result of a collaborative effort between the Oettinger Davidoff Group and a pair of marketing geniuses. It brings together time-honored cigar traditions and blends them with an urban appeal that caters to the younger trendsetting crowd. One could argue that Zino Platinum is a perfect example of style over substance, but the brand's cigars definitely exhibit high quality and incorporate premium tobacco in their composition.
To give you a bit of an introduction to the Zino Platinum brand, here's an overview of some of the varied lines that it has to offer.
Z-Class Series

The Z-Class Series is the newest release from Zino Platinum. Besides being new, the Z-Class seems to be the perfect embodiment of the entire Zino Platinum brand. Not necessarily made to cater to the everyday Joe, this line is said to have been designed for and inspired by modern jetsetters who are constantly on the go. The Z-Class exudes an aura of affluence, and that alone is likely to catch on with those entering the hobby of smoking for the so-called elegant feeling it can bring.
Each Z-Class cigar features a filler blend of handpicked and aged Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The binder is Peruvian, while the wrapper comes from the Dominican Republic. That's quite the global mix. In terms of strength, the line is listed as medium to full-bodied.The spicy Z-Class is the most full-bodied selection from the brand, so beginners will likely want to pass. The cigar's presentation is highlighted by a striking silver and black band. The gunmetal tins that hold up to 20 cigars look great as well. The Z-Class comes in four sizes: 4 7/8 x 50 Robusto, 5 1/4 x 46 Piramide, 5 5/8 x 43 Corona, and 5 7/8 x 54 Toro. While each of the sizes have the same overall composition, they are said to differ in flavor and strength.
