Today seems like a good day for another Puff Profile. Today we will profile Ashton cigars. If, for some reason, you have not heard of Ashton, you will want to keep reading, because this is one cigar brand that you will definitely want to add to your smoking portfolio.
Ashton as a Company
The Ashton brand of cigars is one of the most respected in the industry. The brand was started by founder Robert Levin in 1985. Levin was not a newbie to the cigar world, as he was second generation tobacconist. His prior experience with importing cigars and as a retailer helped to smooth the transition into manufacturing them. It also did not hurt that Levin had the help of the well-respected Fuente family at his side to aid in the process.
Ashton is known for producing high quality cigars with excellent flavor. They also offer smokers plenty of sizes to choose from with the majority of their lines. Premium tobaccos are found in Ashton cigars, and many are aged to add extra flavor. Let's take a look at some of the lines offered by Ashton. While many of them are varied and have their own distinct profiles, they seem to share one thing in common: they are all highly enjoyable.
Cigar Lines
Classic

The Ashton Classic is a smooth medium-bodied cigar that is suitable for beginners as well as experienced smokers. It has a filler blend of Dominican tobacco that has been aged for three to four years, and it is topped off with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. The wrapper really gives the cigar a welcoming appearance with its golden brown color that makes one bring creamy flavors to mind. Smokers can expect a bit of pepper flavor with this stick. The Classic comes in a large variety of sizes, 16 to be exact. Some come in cedar wrapping, while others are encased in aluminum or glass tubes. The Classic is a stick that was made with the intention for everyday use and not just special occasions.
