Cigar Lines
So now you know some background information about Rocky Patel Cigars, but what about the cigars themselves? Starting with the mildest offerings and finishing off with the strongest full-bodied ones, let's see some examples of what this brand has to offer.
Mild to Medium-bodied
Best suited for beginning smokers or those that prefer something a bit easier on the palate, is the mild to medium-bodied category. Here we find the Edge Lite. Just from its name, most would expect a soothing experience, and that is what the Edge Lite offers. It comes in four sizes and has a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobacco. Its binder is Nicaraguan and it is finished off with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper.
Another soothing smoke in this category is the Java. This tasty stick comes in five sizes and offers plenty of coffee and chocolate flavors. The Java has a Nicaraguan filler and binder, as well as your choice of either a Brazilian Maduro or an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper.
Medium-bodied
Moving up a notch in the strength ladder we hit the medium-bodied offerings from Rocky Patel. Residing in this category is the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999. It comes in seven sizes and is highlighted with cedar flavor. The filler is composed of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos and is enclosed with a Nicaraguan binder. The Connecticut Shade wrapper that completes the Vintage 1999 is considered to be one of the most aged on the market.
The Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is one of Patel's finest offerings and has received high praise in the past. Offered in eight sizes, the Vintage 1992 has eight-year old Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. It also features a Nicaraguan binder and a ten-year old Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper.
The Vintage 1990 is another medium-bodied stick from the brand that has garnered high ratings. It comes in eight sizes and has a nutty overall flavor. Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos fill the cigar and it has a Nicaraguan binder. Its Honduran Broadleaf wrapper has been aged 12 years to achieve improved flavor.
The Indian Tabac Cameroon Legend not only has a cool name, but its six offered sizes all feature large ring gauges as well. Despite its size and dark, imposing Cameroon wrapper, this stick offers plenty of creamy flavors. Inside you will find a hearty blend of Dominican tobaccos.

Medium to Full-bodied
Patel's medium to full-bodied offerings are headlined by the Rocky Patel Decade. As its name suggests, this stogie is the result of ten years of hard work. That hard work paid off, as the Decade earned high ratings from well-respected publications. It comes in four sizes and has a dark Sumatra wrapper. The filler and binder are company secrets whose compositions are unreleased to the public.
The 1961 from Patel was not only created to commemorate the founder's birth year, but also was the first cigar produced at the Tabacalera Villa Cuba, which is one of the newer factories opened by the manufacturer. Featuring a Nicaraguan filler, a Honduran binder, and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, the 1961 comes in four sizes. Smokers can expect a nice combination of smooth and spicy flavors from this stick.
The accolades for Patel cigars continue with the Rocky Patel Sungrown. This highly-rated stogie is offered in five sizes and has spicy Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers and a Nicaraguan binder. The five-year old Ecuadorian Sungrown wrapper that tops it off adds some pepper into the mix as well.
To celebrate the ten years that had passed since introducing his first line, the Indian Tabac, Rocky Patel released the ITC 10th Anniversary. It comes in four sizes and has a Nicaraguan filler blend of Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa tobaccos. The binder is secret and the wrapper is a Nicaraguan Habano from Jalapa. The ITC 10th Anniversary is also the first Nicaraguan puro released by Patel.
