Cigar smoking gets a bad rap from all of the “haters” out there.  But is it really all that bad?  Or are there actual benefits you can derive from lighting up a stogie?  This guide will break it all down for you.

For those of us who actually smoke and enjoy cigars, it’s no real secret as to why we love this hobby or pastime.  In fact, I’ll even go as far and say that smoking cigars is one of the top pastimes on the planet in terms of sheer leisure and relaxation.

While cigar smoking is popular at this time, it seems as if it was more commonly accepted in the good old days.  People could feel free to light up a stogie no matter where they were, either in a public or private setting.  It was actually seen as something commendable and as a status symbol.  Nowadays, however, like most enjoyable things, cigar smoking has come under attack from antismoking groups that want to put the hobby out of business.  They claim that cigars are harmful not only for those who smoke them, but for others in the vicinity who become affected by secondhand smoke.  This has led to many antismoking laws being enacted across the country, and there seems to be no end in sight.

So, as cigar smokers, what are we left to do?  We can either accept the fact that the hobby has come under attack, or we can fight back by trying to educate others about the benefits of cigar smoking.  This guide will aim to describe the numerous benefits of the hobby, so that you can pass them on to others who give you nasty looks when you are out and about puffing on your favorite stogie.  After all, we are not demons.  We simply enjoy the quality experience that a well-made cigar can provide.  With all of that being said, let’s jump into the various benefits of cigar smoking.

For some reason I am very excited for the MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured. My question is, even though it is not infused, there are some flavors that are very unique to this cigar (according to what i've read), will it be necessary to keep it in a separate humidor like infused cigars?
