You won’t find many better pairings in this world than a fine cigar and some great whiskey.  Number six on our list, A Gentleman’s Guide to Fine Whiskeys took a look at various whiskey types and listed examples of each.  In addition to the various whiskeys themselves, this article also offered some quick recipes of whiskey drinks that you can make right from the comfort of your own home.

5.  E.P. Carrillo Club 52 Review and the Rocky Patel Fifty Review

As we break into the top five of 2012’s most popular articles on Puff.com, we find the E.P. Carrillo Club 52 Review and the Rocky Patel Fifty Review.  The 5 7/8 x 52 Club 52 is listed as medium to full-bodied in strength and comes with a Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, Nicaraguan binder, and an Ecuadorian wrapper.  The cigar’s impressive appearance and construction translated into a good burn.  The experience was capped off with a decent amount of complexity, making the E.P. Carrillo Club 52 an enjoyable cigar overall.

The special release of the Rocky Patel Fifty was issued to celebrate Rocky Patel’s fiftieth birthday.  The 5 1/2 x 50 Robusto and its Nicaraguan filler, secret binder, and Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper were put together nicely into a box-pressed shape.  Beyond the cigar’s appealing look, it also was memorable due to its great burn and complexity.
