3. Padilla La Terraza Review and the Oliva Inferno Review

More cigar reviews come in at the number three spot of Puff’s most popular articles for 2012.  The Padilla La Terraza Review and the Oliva Inferno Review mixes the smooth with the bold.  The Padilla La Terraza is a 2011 release named after a famous fishing village in Cuba where Ernest Hemingway used to enjoy cigars and liquor.  Hemingway was a friend of Ernesto Padilla’s father, which gives this cigar a nice little back story.  A 5 x 54 Robusto was sampled for this review with its Nicaraguan Cuban Seed tobaccos and Maduro wrapper.  The very dark wrapper gave the cigar a bold appearance, but its actual strength was on the milder side.  Great flavor and burn characterized the La Terraza.

The Oliva Inferno is a full-bodied smoke with a bold name.  The 5 x 50 Robusto comes with a Nicaraguan Ligero interior and a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Beyond the cigar’s power, it also offered plenty of flavor and a good burn for experienced smokers seeking a kick.
