Blackhawks' Owner Wirtz dies
The infamous "Dollar Bill" Wirtz passed today at age 77 after battling cancer.
As much as I said negative things about him in the last 25 years, I won't disrespect the departed by insulting him here.
Question to the Hawks fans is, will this change the Hawks in a positive fashion? Will Peter Wirtz sell the Hawks? Will he put home games on TV in '08 if he keeps the team? Will the pocketbook open a little wider to try to bring veterans who still have a few good years in them to the team instead of past signings like Nicholls, Gilmour, Lang, etc?
