Like the title says, after much lurking and reading up, i've been bitten by the pipe bug too. Thanks for all the great info here and making it a whole lot easier for us newbies! Like cigars, when you ask for opinions on tobacco, the replys can be overwelming to me. After reading up thru the stickies, I stumbled upon the Tobacco Touchstones. What a great guide that has been!
I started off with straight VA....some Full Virginia Flake. Tasty stuff once I got the hang of it. Moved on to a Vaper....some Escudo. Have two coins left and really liking that too. Then tried an Oriential, some Cairo. Loving the taste of that even more. Next up will be something with some latakia in it. It's been a lot of fun trying new stuff out and look forward to learning some more and meeting some new folks along the way.
