Newbie: Drew Esate Java Review

So as everyone can tell, I am rather new to the world of cigars. I am slightly paranoid about writing my first review, as I feel that my taste is far from developed, however, I love the forum... and very much want to be a contributing member.

I picked up the Java Maduro the other day after reading some reviews, and thinking it might be nice to try.

When I first got this very nice, square cigar home, I did notice that is smelled like a fresh brownie.

The pre-light draw was perfect, and the tast was very cocoa flavored.

This cigar was easy to light, and the first draw was almost pure chocolate, with tobacco undertones. The burn was perfect, razor sharp for the whole length of the stogie.

I do wonder if the chocolate flavor is in the blend, or mostly the sweetnened tip?
After the fist few puffs, the chocolate flavor seemed to subside slightly, and I got more of a tobacco flavoring.

Overall, except for the initial change, the flavor stayed the same the whole way through. Nice, creamy smoke and overall very pleasent...

Althought this will never be an "everyday" smoke for me... I will pick up a few more to have on hand for the rare occasions when I want a flavored cigar.

Please forgive the shortcommings of this review as it is my first, however I hope it was helpful to someone.
