Okay, sorry for the newbie question I'm about to post, but how long does it take to form a nice cake? I bought a churchwarden estate pipe that already had a cake established but it was missing in places so I reamed it all out to start over. The pipe gets pretty hot and gurgles (sounds like a bong) and try as I may I can't seem to get the cake to reestablish. Is there a tried and true procedure for this? Do some baccys lend themselves better to making the cake? Did I screw up by reaming out the old?
