Recently I bought an ounce and a half of perique (an ounce from one place, half from another, just to compare the two) for blending, but I haven't realy gotten around to it yet. Basically, I'm just looking for any tips: what blends have you tried that work with perique (CC and some local bulk burleys seem worth trying), and how much perique is a good idea (10% is what I've heard in some places, but that seems real light). Also, is it a good idea to leave the tobacco in long strands (the ounce amount I've got is in two inch long strings), or cut it up to real short lengths to have it more evenly distributed. Also what do people think about adding perique to blends with it in there already? The thought hadn't really occured to me til I started writing this, but what happens when you add more perique to some escudo?
