Re: Pipe Dossier

Can't help you on that front, but to contribute I personally keep an excel file. I keep five columns: date, time, pipe used, tobacco smoked, and notes. Notes is just a general line of who I was with, where I was, and what I was doing. I highly recommend keeping track of smokes in some form, since it lets you reminisce if you go back and look over it, and it can help you remember what tobacco it was you smoked during such and such an event.

More geekily (this is my inner economist speaking), its also really fun to compile stats on which tobaccos you smoke the most, which pipes go int the rotation the most, what baccy cuts or styles, or pipe shapes you have a tendency towards.
