Sol Cubano Artisan Review

My boss handed me this cigar today that he picked up from somewhere. I didn't get a chance to ask, but hey it was a free smoke. I don't give very many reviews because well I don't realy have a taste for pulling all the different taste out of a cigar. To much hot food I guess.

The cigar when handed to me had a little wrapper damage nothing to bad just some of the wrapper was peeling up. I'm not sure of the size but it was a barber pole with three different wrappers. two fat wrappers and a thin 1/8 wrapper following the darker wrapper. It was shaped like a baseball bat.

I decided to light while cooking some BBQ Chicken. It started out with a strong nutty taste smooth but nutty. About half way through it settled down on the nutty flavor, and became smooth. However, it started to form what I can best describe as a tar pocket on the side in my mouth. Took a lot of the good taste out when it my tounge.

Towards the last quarter just got better. Got a strong yet smooth flavor and gave me a little buzz. Have to admit hear I sorta enjoyed that. It got a nice mellow cream flavor right before it burned my lips!

All in all I give this smoke an 8.5 in my taste. Strong yet smooth and very enjoyable. Lost some point with the wet tar like stuff on back side of it.. I would smoke this cigar again..

Maybe not the best review, but there it is.
