Avo Uvezian, 4 years old...
This bad boy has been sitting in various humidors for the past 4 years. It had a small wrapper tear in the first 1/4 of the cigar, but that did not detract from the taste one bit.
I normally consider Avo's to be somewhat spicy- this cigar definitely had that towards the last half. But the first half was quite smooth, and the smoke was white with a slightly yellow tinge to it. It managed to survive my mold spore infection of 1999, still pulling through with alot of great flavor.
Overall, the first half of the cigar was vegetal tasting and medium-bodied, but quickly switched over to complete spicy full-bodiness for the remainder.
I would strongly recommend putting age on these cigars. The finish was the best part, in my opinion, because it not only was spicy, but tasted kind of like a well-done steak tastes. Tough to describe. If I had the room, I'd age another.
Apostle.
