joya de nicaragua-toro Review
these have been napping 1+ years .i know the debate here is undecided on aging non habanos, but i age everything for a year(with about 3 samples on the way).
box of toros and consuls at the houston airport april 00.
these are beauties , perfect construction ,strange dull light brown wrappers(no oilyness at all(look like brown sandpaper)).nice typical prelight aroma.
flavor was there for a mild to mild medium smoke .pleasantly suprised by this.floral to cedary and earthy too.little to no aftertaste(gone in 30 minutes)
burn was absolutely perfect all the way with ashes 2 inches long that still had to be broken off.
overall i would say i enjoyed this smoke but a little more power behind it would be nice.this is a high quality (some have stems tho)premium smoke and if your not hung up on habanos i would say give it a try.
rating-8.5(or a little higher)*cA recently rated this an 89 in there pick of the week(seems a bit high but who knows about cA)
