Just a quick note of introduction here. Name's Dave. Been smoking cigars and pipes for quite a long while - good cigars and quality pipe tobacco for maybe 10 years or so. I tend to be active on sites like this and Herfer's Paradise on and off - and I'm very pleased to discover that CS has a dedicated pipe forum area. Nice.

My favorite current cigar is the Tatuaje Tainos (what I used to think of the Fuente Sun Grown Royal Salute, I now think of the TAT Tainos) and my favorite pipe tobacco of the moment is a toss up between Solani Aged burley Flake and Bluegrass Melody, by Affordable Pipes...both essentially natural Burley blends. Those two tobaccos and the Tainos share something...a deep, rich natural tobacco flavor that isn't harsh or forced - a richness that is almost sweet in nature. Good stuff.

Anyway, nice to meecha. Please tell me to just shut up and go home if it becomes necessary on occasion. I know my flaws and won't take offense. lol
