Navy orders Cardinals pick to report for duty
NORFOLK, Va. - A Naval Academy graduate drafted last week by the St. Louis Cardinals was denied a bid to play ball Thursday and ordered to report for duty. Mitch Harris, a newly commissioned ensign and Naval Academy graduate, must serve a five-year active duty commitment, Navy Secretary Donald C. Winter ruled.

I guess the kid didn't read the contract he signed when he went to the academy... Someone should tell the kid about a little known football player by the name of Roger Staubach. Roger was a great Navy player, then served his country... then became a stinking Dallas Cowboy and made them great.
