Aged RP Sungrown Robusto, not so good Review

Had not had one of these in quite awhile, so pulled one out to try. Unfortunately, with age (about 1 1/2 years), this cigar lost the woody / nutty flavor I enjoyed and became peppery and a bit sharp. This is unfortunate because this was one of my favorite smokes.

This is still a very nice looking cigar with a nice draw, burn and good smoke volume. The flavor pretty much stayed the same all the way through. Toward the end some of the nice flavors started to come in, but it was too late. Have to give this a 5 on a scale of 10.

This is a full bodied cigar and one would think with aging it would become a bit milder and the nice flavors would come out. Guess this is not a good candidate for aging!
