Try to purge it and see what happens when you 'reload' - just turn the flame to its lowest setting, then with the tip of a small flat head screwdriver (or pretty much anything else), depress the filling nozzle on the bottom. At first, you will see some butane expel and freeze, but after, you will likely still hear some 'hissing' - keep the nozzle pressed until the hissing completely stops, then wait a few seconds and do it again, til there is no more hiss.
After, refill, allow the butane to settle, and see if that helps out. May or may not, but generally when I have gas in the tank and it 'no workies right' (technical term) this seems to get it back to 100%.
