I don't know if there is a better movie for straight up entertainment. For those who haven't seen it, here is a quick rundown . . .
It starts with a drug-dealer called 'The Lizard' (played by Meatloaf) and his chemist Elmo McElroy (Samual L. Jackson). McElroy wants out and but has one last deal to do. Something to the tune of $20,000,000. After a fall-out with his boss, (if you've seen the movie than this is funny, otherwise just keep reading), he goes to Europe to finish this deal. A few crooked cops and soccer hooligans later, he finds a buyer. Then things start happening, secret meetings, assassination attempts, you know, the normal stuff.
(again, if you've seen the movie, then the cow is funny)
Anyway, the acting in the movie is really top-notch. You laugh through a good portion of it too. And of course, people die. Its one of my favorite sit back and chill with my girlfriend movies. Go check it out.
