Re: Montecristo (DR) Club Cabinet No. 10

I had purchased a box of #30's at least 2 years ago. I have smoked & gifted all but 3 out of the box over the past coupla years.

I had been pretty unhappy with this cigar for a coupla reasons.

1. The construction was always spongy & the draw was less than ideal.

2. This cigar had a somewhat leathery flavor which turned kinda metalic not far in. The flavor profile was just way out of whack.

Well, finally, with just 3 left out of a box, this cigar has finally come around in the flavor profile department. I found notes of leather & spice, barnyard.......some just excellent highs in the sinus, notes of warm brown sugar & cinnamon that develop in the nose also. A top-notch smoke!

Sadly, this cigar is still spongy & has a much too deliberate of a draw.
