I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that MOST of the cigars available at the local B&M's and at on-line vendors are at retail waaaaay under-aged. I am going to try (over the next few months) to stock some of the things that I like, and keep them in storage for *AT LEAST* six months before smoking them. In a perfect world, I'd test one at 6 months and determine if the rest of the box needed to sit longer or was smokeable. Unfortunately it ain't a perfect world, and I'd rapidly run out of space doing this. But I will do exactly this for the cigars I consider outstanding and exemplary... Who knows, I might have to build that walk-in this winter...
