Re: Reviews & Flavors In General

Tim, I'm with you on this. To hopefully reduce the problem of smoking young cigars that were not yet ready for prime time I got a 500 count humi to go along with the four smaller ones I already had. The plan was/is to have enough sticks that I have to let most rest for an extended period. Only smoking five or so per week I will necessarily age most of them for a least several months.

The problem is that in buying cigars to fill up the new humi I just had to give some a try within the first week or so. Most really did need more time. Some notable exceptions that were good, at least to me, from the get go were: Rp Vintage '92, MC Afrique, CAO Brazilia & Criollo, Excalibur and Griffins Maduro. Maybe just lucky with these, don't know.

I do keep a very simple notes on most of the cigars I smoke and am looking forward to see if they really do improve with age as expected.

I hope your aging project goes well.
