Who decides the ref crews for each game? Thought so. Stern wasn't going to hand the trophy to the jackass in Dallas. No way, no how. Cuban said Stern's league is rigged. This is going to get ugly unless Stern leaves now. He's not the commissioner. He's the Caesar. I really believe he trotted Bavetta out there (too many italian american refs from NY/Jersey for my tastes) and Bavetta knew what to do. Swallow the whistle. Let the Miami physical play wear down Nowitski. Worked to perfection. Nowitski was beat to hell in Game 3 and never recovered. The NBA is a rigged league.

PS: Could care less who won, not hating on Miami although how anyone thinks Paton and what's his face from Boston deserve a ring is beyond me. Payton's an idiot. Always been one. They won in spite of him. Good show Heat (and get a new name please).

Stern would not hand the trophy to Cuban. Dallas will do fine next year. They'll probably win it. It'll be great theater. And Stern will be gone so Cuban won't be the roadblock. The NBA is too much like Pro-Wrestling. I swear they set up this stuff. Any game that depends on a referee to blow a whistle or not in the last second of the game to decide the game is a flawed game. The NBA is a flawed league.
