I haven't watched a soccer game since my dormmates lost 1-0 in the 2nd overtime in the 1983 NCAA soccer championships. Columbia had the best defense in the country and gave up 6 goals all season. They lost to Indiana, where every player had an athletic scholarship.
Now the French can go back to watching their cars getting torched all summer by an invader they'd prefer not to mention.
I'm going to grill some Italian sausage to celebrate tonight.
