I agree with all of the above.
I would add though, that periodically I have hit rough spots on certain cigars. I used to put it out as soon as I no longer enjoyed it but after reading elsewhere about different changes the tastes can go through I've sometimes decided to tough it out. I would say often it pays off. 50% of the time the cigar will re-emerge with a good or different taste. If I get to the final 1/3 though and it is doing no more good for me... out it goes.

...I'm a procrastinator, as long we've got 5 minutes left in the deadline we're cool. It's 10 minutes past deadline that we start to have issues.
