I have had the same issues with some Quixote. I am on my second box. I have found the the issue is manageable though. The taste and burn of these sticks is just unbeatable at the price point. I don't care if a few of them unravel or not. I do pay extra attention when cutting them though. For me, this is the best maduro in the price range, until you boost the price range up to afford Padron 2000 M...then you have a competition. The IT is alright, but i like the Quixote much better.
