Is this like a comedy soap opera or something? There was a South american soap opera called "Bety la fea" (ugly betty), that was later on adapted in Mexico as "lety la fea" (ugly Lety), I think I heard it would be adapted also for the US. Many people over here followed it very close since it was supposed to be very funny. I never really saw it because i dont usually watch soap operas, but my girlfriend never missed it
