Tonight it rained. It Lightninged. It Thundered.
It also smoked.
Lit up a Gurkha Expedition Torpedo.
Pre light thoughts- Super smooth wrapper, velvety to the touch. Clipped with no problems. Draw was pretty loose but not buck-fifty-whore loose. Pretty impressed so far.
Lit it up with ease. Sat in my garage with my good friend Kyle with the garage door opened. We sat and smoked (he had a 5 Vegas A Torp), sipped on ice water and watched the rain pour down and the lightning light up the sky.
Flavour wise this stick consisted of pretty much just straight tobacco flavour- albeit good tobacco- with a bit of spice/harshness. I think this could benefit from 6-12 months of aging to smooth out the bit of harshness and possibly help it develop some new flavours. It was consistent- never changed flavours. I smoked it til it had about 2 and a half inches left. Good tobacco flavour- but not enough variation in my opinion.
Left a nice charry, long finish on the palate.
Nice smoke but should be more interesting. Thanks Kyle for giving me the opportunity to try one of these
