Re: Gurkha Expedition Torpedo

Had one last night, and I gotta say I had a completely different experience!

Toasted the foot with wooden matches. The aroma was a scent that I could only compare to burning butter cookies. LOL The flavor was very similar, a sort of burnt-buttery flavor. This was not at all unpleasant, in fact I found the aroma and flavor of this cigar to be very unique and enjoyable. After the first 1/3 the burnt butter cookie aroma stayed, but the flavor became alot more multi-dimensional. The draw would taste sweet, when I "exhaled" the smoke through my nostrils and mouth, the flavor was sort of tangy, and the buttery flavor that dominated the first part of the cigar became a very pleasant aftertaste.
I got this torpedo in a trade with Replicant Argent (thanks bro!), and it's been sitting in the humi for a few months now. I just won a 5 pack of robustos on c bid for $9, and if they are as good as the one I smoked last night, I think I've found a new favorite.

P.S. This was my first Gurkha ever.
