For over 30 years, The Tobacco Cache has been Anchorage's premier retailer of fine cigars and proprietary pipe tobacco blends. Positioned in the heart of the city, our location makes it convenient for a relaxing stop after work or to pick up a couple of cigars to enjoy after a meal at one of the excellent nearby restaurants.

With over 8,000 cigars in our walk-in humidor and a variety of over 50 different pipe tobacco blends, The Tobacco Cache is able to cater to almost any pipe or cigar tastes.

Movie Night- Thursdays at 7PM.

Pipe guys get together- Every second Saturday of the month.

The Tobacco Cache has gone private due to the smoking ban. Membership is free, just give have your name entered into the system and you are a member!

Sad to report, although the "private club" trick worked for a while, the city's Bastard Squad has come around and dropped the hammer on them. That was as of a little over a week ago, the last time I dropped by. The guy who was there told another customer they were working on another end-run, but I don't know what it is, or if it has been implemented, yet.

I have been buying their kicking house blend pipe tobaccos for years, but only recently getting into cigars. I'm already on The Slope, and bad.

They have formed a private smokers club that is a separate entity from the shop. Currently they have club meetings after business hours on Thursdays and other evenings as needed. They are working on getting a separate location for the club, complete with humidor lockers, big screen TV, and other goodies for members. It will be a paid membership as the location and such will cost money. No sales of tobacco will take place at the club location. You will, however be able to smoke as it is a private club for members only.

As of yesterday, the Thursday night herf club is still going, which I somehow didn't know about. A portable building has been donated to the club, but it is still in the lower 48, as, this being Anchorage, they haven't been able to secure a place to put it.
