It is very possible if you act now. I got mine back in 2 weeks when I was going to Honduras to Camp Camacho. Make sure you pay the little extra to expedite it.

For the people who went before, whats the security like? I'm not sure if I want to bring ALL of my lenses and camera stuff, or maybe just the camera body and a 24-70 or something.
Rhonda/Troy? Any input? |

Security wasn't bad at all in Houston (normal situation- you never know when you'll get a TSA agent that's just an a-hole) I took a cutter and carried it on the plane. Didn't take any lighters but one guy on the trip did (just a regular Bic I think). On the Dominican side, there weren't any problems. The Arganese guys were a few minutes late picking us up from the airport, and Gene said had they been there on time, they could have gotten us right through all the customs and security. Now if you're talking about security as in safe to carry around- I think there's no problem there either. I carried my camera stuff around and I never felt at risk for theft or anything like that.
