Year for 1st Camacho Liberty?

What year did Camacho start making the Liberty line of cigars?
I would like to try to go back and collect them all.

2002. My guess it was in honor of 9/11 the year before.

I have a 2002 from CGAR Girl that I'll be smoking later this month. Good luck finding all of them.

I think it was 2002 also have never heard of any year previous .

Good luck trying to find them all...! There were only 2,000 boxes made of each per year.

I've got a few of each year EXCEPT '02. I've begged and pleaded and nobody's got an '02 to share.

The first year was 2002 and it came in five sizes.

Corona
Churchill
Rothschild
Toro
Torpedo

Years 2003 -2007 all came in one size and in individual coffins. I was thinking that I would try to collect and the years but after seeing this thread and other I am not sure how much luck I would have. I may just try to see if I can get the coffins for 2003-2006. Also I heard that the Liberty 2008 in coming soon and it is going to be another barber pole warp.

Slight correction. The 2004 came out with 2 sizes: the 11/18 and the 60/40 Amendment XII. The Amendment was a second release for the 2004 election season. Will we see that again this year?

I've got an 05 that I bought in 06, and its still sealed up.. I cant bring myself to crack it open.

I am sure it just me but if I buy a cigar because I want to smoke I smoke it. I do usually wait for a special occasion. I smoked my Liberty 2007 when I bought my house in Maine. When I do get a hold of the rest of the Liberties I will smoke them. I will keep the empty coffins for my collection but they will go up in smoke.

I am in the same boat. I have 3 of everything from 2003-2007 except the 11/18 version of the 2004. Actually, I now have 7 of the 2007 which means I'll be smoking some of them.

I saw a full box of 2002 about a month ago as it was on its way out the door of my B&M. I had an opportunity, but too rich for my blood. Still in search of the 2002 to complete the collection.
