Thanks! That was a one year only color, Graphite Metallic for 2002, and the optional Connolly Cognac interior

My wife and I currently have two cars in the shop undergoing restoration. That is when I get off my lazy a$$ and work on them. A 1966 GTO 389 Auto car, and a 1969 Camaro true Z car

Since the Italians have been well received so far I'll post my import up:

'77 Celica ST

Anyone local know how to work on older cars? Willing to trade learning for what little cigars I have

As strange as it may seem from a muscle car guy, I've rebuilt a 22R and put some speed parts in it (carbs, cam and header, very minor port matching). A high school buddy of mine had an early Celica and blew the engine. When he decided to rebuild it, we got some mail-order speed parts and warmed it up. It was a breeze to work on, nothing was too big or heavy and you could pretty much pull the whole car apart by yourself if you wanted to. Not a bad little engine, all in all. Sorry, though, I've long since discarded any of the manuals I accumulated from those days.

Love those 60's muscle cars too! Here's one that's being reintroduced, sometime soon I hope.

Re: muscle cars, hot rods and rat rods

I know a lot of people like new muscle cars, and they do look nice, but my dream car is a 1969 Pontiac GTO, Canary Yellow w/a convertible top and black racing stripes (4-speed manual, of course!).

That car can pack a punch, all in a beautiful, steel frame!

I'm definitely a muscle car chick BUT there are other cars that I see every once in a while that look like pure sex on wheels also.

Damn my fickle heart!

Re: muscle cars, hot rods and rat rods

Daughters college has delayed my project 68 Fastback Mustang/GT350 clone.

I can't afford a GT350 so I'm building a clone that should perform better than the original.

I have a Kenne Bell Blown EFI 5.0 that should make 500 hp 500 tq, T56 6 speed, Global West tubular suspension and subframe connectors.

Still need my Currie aluminum 9" rearend with Detroit Tru Trac, 4 wheel disc brakes and power rack and pinion.

My 17 year old son has a 302, 4 bbl, Maverick with Grabber hood and just insured his 84 Ford Ranger that has a 5.0 Mustang engine (it moves along pretty good)

Here is what they look like before you "put them together".
