I would love to get another 240SX or an older Z car someday because I really miss my 240SX. My "dream car" is a decent 3-series or 5-series BMW, maybe even an M3 or M5

First car was a '90 240SX. What a fantastic car.

Only other thing Ive had is my current '97 F150...10 years of driving, 2 cars...hey, I'm cheap.

I'm also looking to get back into the Z-cars. Once I figure out where my home will be, Ill be getting a Titan...then I will have to figure out whether I will be getting a 300ZX or a 240Z. If I could find a 240Z with even 60% frame and body for a decent price, Id jump.

The Inflation Calculator says $800 in 1972 = $4054 in 2007, and $1400 in 1984 = $2879 in 2007...so there's not as much difference as you think. His $5900 car in 2007 would be equivalent to your first car costing $1164 in 1972.
