Motorcycle Forum?

Judging by the Avatars lots of guys ride here. Is there a forum area for this that I missed?

There have been a lot of posts about those of us who ride motorcycles but nothing that is set apart that I see is dedicated for motorcycle riders. I know Cypress posts a lot of things in regards to this great hobby. I wouldn't mind seeing something that is totally dedicated to this.

Just a thought. Bikes & Cigars seem to go hand in hand

I can't agree, very few sport-bikers in my experience partake of cigars, and due to their "dare-devil" personality they take more into other less savory things. I think it's the Harleys and what not (and I really just don't like old bikes or cars) that have a cigar rider, but that's just my observation.

However, I'm a fan of the CBR's, and other such sport bikes.

Not as concerned with the riders who don't smoke, as I would imagine that they probably don't subscribe to a Cigar smokers forum.

My concern was more for the people here who DO ride. And yes most of them seem to be into Harleys or older bikes.... which was kinda the group that I thought it would attract.

As far as the sport bike group....lets not forget that "Acid" (Ick! personal, just my opinion) uses sport bikes & riders in their logo.

It might just not be a forum section for everyone, I guess, is what I'm trying to express. But one that I believe alot of people here may enjoy.

I don't think there is any evidence that supports how many riders smoke cigars whether they ride a crotch rocket or a chopper. I know too many people from my 40 years of experience who ride all types of cycles and smoke cigars as well. I also know corporate people who play golf and smoke cigars just like the hackers who get paid minimum wage and smoke cigars as well.

Regardless I'd love to see a forum section for those who ride motorcycles and we'll probably take it for granted that they love cigars as well.

But I don't get a lot of the things that seem to be going on around here as well... perhaps I'm a bit sheltered...

Oh and please stop calling them "Crotchrockets". They look cool, they're fast, and you ride them the way most future bikes (read the jet bike concepts) will be...

crotch rocket 562 up, 39 down A specific type of motorcycle, typically distinguished by it's aerodynamic 'hunched-over' seating position and high power to weight ratio. Often favoured by stunters, who choose the bikes because they are light and easy to perform tricks (such as wheelies and stoppies) on.


They have been called this term for quite awhile and there are groups all over American who call their clubs this same name so I think the term is pretty much written in cement.

Just open your mind up a bit more and you won't have that "sheltered" feeling and there will probably be a ton more things that you will start to get. There is tons of information from good brothers on here and the first step in learning from them is listening.

Perhaps something not quite so specific, like a general automotive forum that would encompass all types of motorized transport. Somewhere where I could post mindless drivel about my dream of buying a used motor home and making it into a herfmobile.

I think if you smoke & ride then there is a venue in the forum.....that;s it really. A general auto'/bike are would probably go great. The "What do you drive" Forum is going fine.
