Bike Nights (Houston/Katy TX.)

I stumbled over a website for a cigar shop in Katy, TX. that says they have a bike night every Thursday. I was curious if anyone had been and what they thought.

I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if it's still something they do before I show up.

You talking about Absolute Tobacco? I think they have been doing this for a while but I have never been to it. The B&M is ok, husband and wife team own it.

That's the one. I'd never heard of them until today. I'm going to check it out. I tend to avoid bike nights in general, but that one could be fun.

Here is the link Upcoming Events

Here is what the website says
Bike Night: Every Thursday night from 5:00pm till closing. Ride in on your bike and get a discount on your stogies! We don't want to hear the stories of your glory days on your bikes, we want to hear the rumble from a distance!! Bike clubs, give us a call a head of time and let us know your coming. Our goal is to fill the parking lot with bikes and smoke! Show us your ride!

Re: Bike Nights (Houston/Katy TX.)

Well... The bike night was almost lonely.
The owner rides a nice sporty. There's a good sized walk-in humidor. It seems like a good place to hang out. Real friendly owner/staff.
I had the place pretty much all to my self. I guess football season is to blame.
They're open late on Friday nights so I'll probably go back then instead of Thursday.

David you have to let us know that you are going! At least a few days in advance so we can meet you there.

I have trouble planning anything more than a couple of days in advance. I'm notoriously disorganized.
Friday nights are probably better. They stayed around while I finished my cigar, but they usually close at eight on Thursdays.
The weather is supposed to be rotten tomorrow, but next Friday could work out.

They are having a Kristoff Cigar Event on the 30th (also a Friday).

I remembered that shortly after my post.
They stayed late once, maybe Thursdays would be better? They did advertise it on their website.
