Re: XiKar broke...

My Xikar needs sharpening and some screws are loose and won't stay tight. I'm using a cheap two-blade cutter ($3) with "Cusano" printed on it. Works great.

Re: XiKar broke...

Does anyone know if you can just take it back to a store that sells xikars like you can with palio. I have a xikar punch that broke and was wondering if i can just go some where and switch it rather than having to send it back to them.

I'm not familiar with the acronym, but sak breakage sounds rather severe.

I'd be pretty upset too if I busted my sak.

Re: XiKar broke...

i have heard of bust a nut but a broke sak sounds bad. i have a xikar and i sent it back once and its going back soon. which is not bad to get a new one every six months. i cut about 1-3 cigars a day 42 ring is avg so about 360 cigars before it needs a tune up is fine with me. its mechanical what can u say

I believe this is up to the B&M based on their relationship with Xikar. I know mine will but I've never seen anything on Xikar's website that expressly states this.
