Re: Palio V-Cutter?

I've never used a V-cutter but it sounds like something I would like. If the price is right, I'd buy a V-cutter even though I am not familiar with it/them.

I'm basing this on the fact that I like using a punch for the very reason that it only create a small hole that doesn't allow much of the tobacco to accidently become detatched and ending up on my tongue. That is the only thing I really dislike as far as cigars go, I just hate having to pick or spit tobacco bits out of my mouth.

That is actually the primary reason why I somewhat often use a cigar mouthpiece.

So yeah, a V-cutter is something that I would be curious to try.

How about a Palio 3-bulb LCD flashlight w/retractable punch?
Palio could do all sorts of exotic finishes...like 10,000 year old mammoth tusks!

Oh wait someone does that already. :P

^^^ yeah, what he said.

What's the best v-cutter out there presently? This is the sort of item I'd like to buy 2 or 3 of *one time* and be done with it. The generics I use are no better than disposable quality, and the branded ones I've found don't look that much better. Having v-cut from early on, I'm kinda partial to it. Cigars don't fall apart as much as my friends' do, and I can't find a downside yet.

Would be up for participating in a group buy for a good v-cutter if there is one.

One of the owners of Palio is a member here, so I assume he will.

Never smoked a cigar with a V-Cut....don't know the first thing about it. But all my cigars are cut with a Palio.

Re: Palio V-Cutter?

I have a old stainless v cutter and use it on occasion, not bad but the cutter is not sharp any more. If Palio made one I would consider it only if it came in graphite
