Mexico With My Palio

I just returned from a Mexican Riviera cruise, and it was a great cigar cruise. I sailed on Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas, while it didn't have its own cigar lounge they used the Library from 9:00 pm until the last person left.
I had just recieved my Palio from Mark at Cigarmony (a great BOTL,and a provider of excellent products and service) and used it at least 3 times daily.
I took a few NC's and Some Monte #4's. Those lasted until Puero Vallarta and thankfuly the LCDH wasn't to hard to find.I ended up buying a box of H. Upmann #2's, a Trinidad Fundadores, a Rass, a RASCC, A Vegas Robaina Familiar, and a R&J Short Churchill. Only the box of #2s made it back home. There was a good crowd that herfed every night after dinner it was a real smoking pleasure, sorry but no pics

sounds like you had a great time, the last time I was in that area I wasn't big into cigars but I'm sure they would have made that great trip even better. Thanks for sharing your story!

Re: Mexico With My Palio

Im sailing out on Jan 16th on the Coral Princess, and they have a smoking lounge with a table and chair with my name on it.

Who needs a place to sleep when you can smoke cigars all night.

Sounds like fun, sure would have liked to be on that cruise. Oh well, there's always another cruise available.

Never been on a cruise. I always thought it was a waste of money. After reading about everyones great smoking stories I just might have to go next time with the family.

Any suggestions on online sites to review cruise lines and offerings?

I want do want to make it family oriented, but the children are 9/5 years of age.

These guys are usually competitive, but it pays to shop around.

VTG

Sometimes an agent can offer a deal they aren't allowed to advertise due to restrictions the cruise lines impose.

tchariya, I deal with CRUISES INC. agent Karen Burnham. She deals with all the different cruise lines, so if you tell her what you are looking for she can usully find it at the price point that suits you.I would recommend Royal Caribbean for their children and youth programs, they are awesome. Good luck

The last time my daughter and her in laws went of a cruise they took her nephews who were younger than that. I can't remember the name of the cruise, but they had a wonderful time and found things for the boys to do.

Re: Mexico With My Palio

LCDH Puerto Vallarta is awesome. Stopped there this summer on my another destination in Mexico.

The humidor was kept very cool and seemed to be very well maintained. Great selection of aged stock in great condition (late 90's Boli CG's, Ninfas, and Upmann Connie #1's ).

Sounds like a great time on the cruise.

Lets not get foolish. They are nice cutters but not double MSRP.
