Trivoli Cab Humi and the Hydra

I recently purchased the mahogany Trivoli Cabinet Humidor from Tampa Humidor with the Hydra humidification device. I am very excited as I can now create an environment for my cigars that I have always wanted them to have.
It should be shipping in a week or two as they are on pre-order. Does anyone have any experience with these two items. I can't wait to receive them so I will only have to monitor one humidor........for now. As we all know it's a slippery slope.

Thumbs up Re: Trivoli Cab Humi and the Hydra

I bought the same humidor, but in Cherry. One of the doors was damaged when it arrived, so they sent me a new matched pair of doors very quickly... great service, and I love the Humidor. I don't think it strictly the best quality, but it works well and it's a great deal for the price.

I went with the Oasis XL Plus, and it works like a champ.

I'm sure I'm gonna love it. Thanks for the feedback. Just out of curiosity, why do you say it's not the best quality? Is the construction not very solid?

I think the fit and finish of the cedar is not as good as I'd like. The interior corners are a bit loose and uneven. I've seen much better workmanship, but for the price, I think it's fair to expect some of that. The exterior has prety good fit and finish, but again, I've seen better. Overall, I still recommend it. When I first started shopping, and searching this site, I saw a lot of recommendations for Aristocrat ... but clearly that is a different level, with corresponding different price.

Bottom line: no regrets. And, the extra money goes to fill it up!!

I've got the same humi with an oasis and it works fine. I had it up and stable in a matter of days and haven't any regrets.
